This summer I decided to start writing code

And I would like to take you with me on this journey

I’m 100% positive that most of you have already written code before. Well, at least most of you who are as old as I am now. I remember using HTML heavily on my MySpace account, my blog, my Fotolog account… I would make my mouse fly, I would add music and I would change colors, columns, and I was really good at it.

I’m 2 months away from my 31st birthday and I’ve been on a journey to rediscover myself and find what are the things in life that bring me the most joy. So I made a list.

It goes something like this:

  1. I love being with other people — not necessarily physically, I love working from home
  2. I really enjoy putting processes in place: they help me not forget important things and it saves time for more analytical thought
  3. I’m curious and am always up to learning new things
  4. I’m a sucker for new hacks and tricks, and shortcuts
  5. I like making tedious tasks automated and spending time with what really matters
  6. I love Product and innovative ideas
  7. I am always keen to meet new people and I’m VERY empathic — some would say too much
